What will the New Year bring? I'm hoping it will bring me peace of mind and a lot more understanding of my life and purpose.

While the Holiday's are right around the corner, I'm happy to see it come and go. This year(2009) has been more down than up for me. While Lot's of good things happened it just wasn't my year.

I've met some really great people who I've become really good friends with, and even though I use that term very lightly, It's something that I've decided to give a chance. I've also dropped a lot of people out of my life. The ones that always seem to bring the drama and negativity around. I've also come across a lot of inconsiderate people who takes nothing serious. All they do is try to steer you in the wrong direction, think they know everything there is to know and hate on you while they pretend to be your "friend".

I've met people who have inspired me to try different things and who have motivated me into pursuing those things and also people who tried to bring me down (as if I wasn't good enough for my dreams and aspirations).

I'm making the year 2010 the year 2009 wasn't for me. I appreciate all those who supported me, all who supports me and will continue to do so in the future. If you have a dream or something you absolutely love doing DON'T let anyone step in your way or TRY(because that's all they can do) to bring you down. Keep your head up, keep your faith and I'm sure 2010 will be your year too!

A lot of guys wonder how they can make their girl or women in general happy? Are women ever really happy when it comes to guys? Or do they just put on a front?

.::Lesson Learned::.

Disappointment, Betrayal, Deceit! As my mom always told me growing up" yuh nuh gi nobady money fi pu dung"(you didn't give anyone money to put down SO DON'T EXPECT ANYTHING FROM ANYONE). These are just a few more lessons you have to go through in life. Never depend on anyone for anything especially happiness because your only looking for a let down! If they can't make themselves happy why would they want to see you happy.

A lot of people go through life saying one thing and end up doing something totally different. Posers? I think so.

Who can you really count on in life to be there for you during the good or the bad? Everyone has there own agenda and guess what your not apart of it. People do things simply because they want to and they can't ever be wrong about a situation but hey there's nothing wrong with that because we all do it at some point.

Doing something without thinking especially if it involves other people is one of the most selfish things anyone can do especially if it affects them in a negative way or put them in a situation where they can't decide or even think for themselves. When someone wants you to do something for them its no problem but if you ever need the favor in return its like a huge deal to even think about it much less go through it.

.::CHANGES I'M GOING THROUGH::.

So recently I really haven't been the person I was a few months ago and I was wondering why is that. I've been through a lot in my life and experienced a lot of things, things that made me grow up a little faster and more understanding of what's going on around me. I haven't really found out who I am or what it is that I was put on this earth to do, but I figured why rush, why not live my life how I want to and everything will fall into place when its the right time.

A lot of people don't really understand me so it's either you love me or you don't like/hate me. I don't take bullshit from anyone so don't expect me to be fake around or towards you. I'm the type of girl who's emotions show on her face. I'd say it's a blessing and a curse ;)

Lately I've been noticing a lot of inconsiderate people around me so I decided to cut them out of my life, so if that makes me a bitch or some one that thinks they are better then so be it. Coming to America opened up my eyes on a lot of things, things that people in Jamaica aren't used to so it's taking me sometime to adjust to it. Not saying I never will, I'm just saying don't expect me to change for you or change because I'm in a different country because that will never happen!

I'm at the stage in my life where I see things a little clearly and understand a lot more. I constantly make things irritate me and it shows so please bear with me :)

I'm finally making a name for myself and my family and where I came from. I believe in helping people even if I'm in a situation that I can't really help myself but I hope God will help and take care of me. I believe if you have a dream, don't stop until you've accomplished it or at least tried your damn best at it. Don't ever let anyone tell you, NO or YOU CAN'T!!! KEEP TRYING because in the end your only there to make yourself happy. Don't let anyone take that away from you!!!

BE YOURSELF NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN LIFE SPIRITUALLY, MENTALLY, EMOTIONALLY or PHYSICALLY!

People feel the need to "hate" on you or critcize you because you look a certain way, dress a certain way or act a certain way (pardon my expression) but why do you care so much?!?! Why do you care how another person looks, dress' or acts? Get a life!!

"Haters" they hate on you and talk shit but you really can't survive without someone hating on you. If it wasn't for them do you really think people would know who you are?

Do guys really want girls to be themselves or to act like something else( i do mean something else). It's never clear what a guy wants from a girl or even what a girl wants from a guy. Is it that we're both immature in a way that we don't know how to act or even respond to one another in a civil way?

The way the "GAME" is played (one must act like your not interested in order to get the girl or guys attention).

Why do we have to go through that?
Isn't it enough when you like someone to just tell them you do,
instead of worrying whether or not they do or don't?

If your not interested don't you at least owe that person the knowledge of knowing you aren't? It's really that simple! Why do we have to play games with each other and think its OK to lead people on ?

It makes you wonder, Are people really what seem? Or is it just an illusion to make themselves seem more interesting.
